Welcome to Sugar Moon Cabin
After decades of enjoying the White Mountains with family and friends, we built Sugar Moon as a comfortable and cozy mountain retreat to connect with loved ones, nature, and the White Mountains community.
Sugar Moon was designed (on a napkin at Polly’s Pancakes!) to be a restful home base from which to enjoy all the activities the region has to offer: Ski the slopes at Bretton Woods, peep the Autumn leaves from Artist’s Bluff, take a scenic gondola up to the summit of Cannon, or hike the stunning Franconia Ridge. Enjoy restaurants and shopping nearby in Bethlehem, Franconia, Littleton, and Lincoln, and the luxurious spa and year-round activities at the Omni Mount Washington Resort. Sugar Moon is also trailside to a network of mountain bike and hiking trails courtesy of the Bethlehem Trail Association.
Or, give yourself a restorative day to enjoy the views and read a good book by the cozy stone fireplace.
However you spend your time, your stay at Sugar Moon benefits the local community even beyond the support you provide by visiting local businesses and attractions- a portion of all Sugar Moon rental fees is paid forward to local community organizations that support north-country families and outdoor access for all.
We can’t wait to share Sugar Moon with you!

Why “Sugar Moon?”
Beautiful sugar maple trees line the land of Sugar Moon Cabin. It came into our care one year during the month of March under the “sugar moon,” the last full moon before spring. Indigenous peoples noted this moon by the sweet sap of the sugar maple trees flowing and considered it to be a time of “renewal, magic, and miracles.” The sap was found to be healing and balancing after a long, cold winter.
We hope Sugar Moon brings you the same renewal and magic it brings us.
